Hiya guys,

Anyone else having problems accessing certain WebSites?

In particular, I cannot go to fileplanet. http://www.fileplanet.com

Just times out after a loooooooong time. Been like this for a couple of days now, but everything else seems fine and I get good speed etc. And to make it even stranger, I can ping it no problem at about 600ms.

Just wondering if this is just me or Sentech are perhaps blocking certain sites in order to save bandwidth?

Same here

But tried it on the old dial up and also wouldn work

Site must be down

I'm on a leased line, and fileplanet + gamespy.com have both been inaccessable for the past 2 weeks [:(]

Ok, so it's almost certainly not Sentech.

Except it's wierd that it works via MWeb. something screwey going on somewhere.

Ahh the joys of South African Internet Access.....

Whos your leased line ISP? We use MTN DS - who if I'm not mistaken peer through Sentech for international bandwidth...that would explain why GEye and I cannot reach gamespy/fileplanet...

Something is out of wack today.
Try changing your proxy setting as follows:
168.210.90.130 Port 8080
It should help!
