Cant boot into Windows after Hardware change

So I made an image of my old laptop using Acronis True Image 2013 and converted the image to a .vhd.
The first problem I came across is I couldnt boot up the VM at all using the .vhd as the bootmgr was missing. Fixed this but now Windows wont boot up and I assume it's because of the sudden hardware change.
Anyway to fix this?

Some VHD converters can clean up the junk and drivers to make a baremetal VHD. Also there are some tweaks dependant on which Hypervisor you are using to lessen issues. Without more detail there is little to be done

Like he said...he got that fixed

It's the boot up that's bugging around!but yeah with not much to go on we can't help

Ok, the problem is just after I it finish's up with the Windows load screen and tries to go to the login screen. I get a blue screen and it resets.
It isn't working in VMware at all but works somewhat in VirtualBox not sure why though.

It's coming from a i7,8gb ram laptop
TO
a 1 CPU, 1Gb, 32bit VM setup.

What type of info do you guys need?
