can't buy crypto

hello,

I signed up for Coinbase completed setting up my account, but when I try to link my debit card it just it could not link my card and I should check with my bank. I then decided to sign up for Binance and the same thing happens it just doesn't accept my debit card. I use standard bank and I've made international purchases etc with it. I don't understand. Is there some information I'm missing ?
