Having this problem after installing today's patch, anyone else having trouble?

oh and yea im on dialup right now because im in the friggen karoo and theres no broadband here wtf. tried on gprs too and can't connect there either

There might be more realms affected on US servers.
Seeing as im EU i dont know but normally wednesday is Scheduled down time and it sometimes takes longer than anticipated.

Subject: 10/07 Game time credit

On June 27th extended maintenance caused 8 hours of unscheduled downtime on the following realms:
Alonsus
Anachronos
Bronze Dragonflight
Burning Steppes
Darkmoon Faire
Darkspear
Kor'gall
Lightbringer

As a result we will credit all players with an active character on the affected realms with 1 day of game time credit. This will be credited to the eligible accounts in the next few weeks. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

No not quite, i was having probs connecting to the auth server, as in when you click "Login" it can't connect - this was after most realms, including mine, were up after maintenance. i read some posts on the forums where others where having the same problems and the suggested solution was to renew your IP. this worked for some and not for others. idk, I was able to connect after dialling a few times. thanks though
