Hi, i cant connect with my gold acc....anyone else same problem?

I am only have problems with Afrihost. Had a problem earlier this evening, and now it is dead again. The problem is with two of my Afrihost accounts.

so where does this " With lower contention ratios and an A-Grade network, clients can rest assured that if their Telkom line is up, their ADSL access will be available! fit in?

Yep, I have an IS account with MYISP and Afrihost... Both are down.
Using my Cybersmart account now to connect (oh, btw, plz don't tell them that I have accounts with other ISPs ;))

i ask again.... i pay extra for GOLD for the nice service i was offerd...clients can rest assured that if their Telkom line is up, their ADSL access will be available ???

Go and troll somewhere else you idiot.

Im on Gold and did not go down once last night.

Maybe because you dont know how to use your router properly.

Maybe Flame was on the IS backbone while you are on Vodacom or BCS.

If you look on the terms and conditions page of Openweb, Point 4.5 " OpenISP CC shall make every effort to make the service available at all times and shall use its utmost endeavours to strive for 100 % (one hundred percent) " best effort" uptime. OpenISP CC is, however, unable to, and does not, guarantee 100 % (one hundred percent) uptime".

ok. nevermind..all is back now, and im smiling again. :)

on that note.

can a new user request to be put on the vodacom backbone instead on the IS one ?

just signed up and will get my credentials in DEC but terrified about the reliability of IS.
