I was busy copying files off my phones internal memory via Solid Explorer App FTP the PC and wifi, things seemed a little glitchy but eventually seemed to finish what I wanted to do, wouldn't let me delete files though which was weird and I'd cut the files and they'd still be there, eventually deleted the remaining files with Solid Explorer.

Right after I finished I get some SD card error pop up on the phone, my 32gb Transcend card has some error please format etc, wasn't even accessing the SD card as the phone won't let me via FTPWifi on the pc. Now I can fortunately read the data off the card but that's it, can't delete them(they show as deleted and then come right back) I can even do a successful low level format and the files still come back. I've tried 3 mobile devices and none of them can format the card

Windows also can't format the drive, gives a write protected error, which in SD card parlance seems to imply your SD card is toast?

Any idea on how to access the warranty on a Transcend Micro SD 32GB 45MB/s Class 10 UHS-1 with no pop, they do apparently have a lifetime warranty, hmmm lifetime right!!!

What will happen if I put the card on a brute of a magnet?

If you are using a microSD to SD adapter, make sure the Lock switch on the left side of the adapter card is slid up (unlock position). You will NOT be able to modify or delete the contents on the memory card if it is locked.

Using it natively in the phone and Media card reader - just to clarify before the deluge of replies in this vein..
THERE IS NO LOCK SWITCH INVOLVED IT IS A MICRO SD CARD

Toast

Magnets will not affect it.
Yip, found this :
"A magnet powerful enough to disturb the electrons in a flash drive would be powerful enough to suck the iron out of your blood cells," says Frank.

There are no magnetic materials in flash memory.

I believe they sometimes do that to protect the data on them. Flash can only handle a certain amount of writes

I have a collection of these sd cards as well as a flashdisk. Warranties are useless and all the brands are equally crap when it comes to write life and wear levelling.

The card is barely a yr old and not seen much use.
Try calling rectron as they are the local distributor.
How good are they about warranty with no pop?
It is lifetime so why would a pop be necessary but I know they still get sticky.

Had a 128gig fail on me three times, made by Transcend

Yeah its a protection they put in place...once it fails...at least you can read your data but you cannot modify it in anyways

If there's a life time warranty, try get it swapped out from where you brought it...life time-means the life-time of the product....if they're EOL then you're not gonna get anything since its over "it's" lifetime

P.S... after going through so many of these shi'tey TF cards...I realized they're just good to write once and is good to be stored away...using it as a swap drive will kill it within 1 month
