What's your budget/speed requirements, and your location?

Did you order ADSL via an ISP? Sometimes if you order via TelkomInternet spots at the exchange magically open up.

Have been using Amobia wireless broadband now for 6 months, and I must say they are very good. Latency will depend on the distance to the high site. In my case I have about 250ms to Chicago, best I have seen after going through a numbers of ADSL ISPs. About 6-10ms to servers in Cape Town and 35ms to the once is JHB. Hope this helps.

I assume you are on the capped package?

AMOBIA seems to have a 10 over 3days policy. If you want to use it for gaming, then you have to get the capped solution and if you want uncapped, then get their uncapped...

From what I have seen, the uncapped won't be that great for online gaming, depending on how serious you are about the pings....

Amobia are very forward about whether or not your signal strength will be awful - very truthful. I was also offered a mixed package with capped/unshaped uncapped/shaped included- didnt get further than that though cos our LoS was awful.

Anyone got any ideas for a guy with no LoS and stolen copper cables? No wifi, no cable - no net :(
