Can't make calls on new telkom sim

I just got a telkom freeme contract and the data side of things work fine, but I can't make any calls. I only get "line busy" and "network busy", nomatter what number I dial. My other sim card makes calls fine.

Is there something wrong with the network at the moment, or am I missing a step in activating my sim?

usually takes a little while for the activation process to kick in before you can use the SIM. How long have you waited after inserting the SIM?

I got the sim on Wednesday, could start using the data yesterday, but phone calls still doesn't work

Call Telkom and scream at them.

I can't make our receive calls on my Telkom sim if its connected to TelkomSA-R. I manually do a network scan and roam directly on vodacom when I'm at work. At home it works fine.

Try and change the network its connected to.

Ok strangest thing. I just restarted my phone and I can make calls now. Weird.

I have been using my Telkom dim card for 2 weeks now and I can't make calls too but theobile network works perfectly. What should I do
