As the title says

Mine was working fine last night, now when I try to start it it goes to the loading screen and then to the battle.net login page for a second then greys out and quits

Anyone else having issues?

Had something similar when they were patching and I had to wait. Try again just now? Did yours update today?

Haven't updated as yet, but can log in now.
Tried starting a quick match and the server dropped me. damn 17 points gone for nothing

Will try again later

try starting the updater manually, there is probly a .exe for it somewhere in the SC2 folder. you will have to update before u can play

Ok, so I tried reinstalling Starcraft thinking there may be a problem with the installation.
Now it doesn't even start and when I try is says "Starcraft 2 requires a patch"
I click ok and then nothing happens and the same message again...
I check the logs and it says "Failed to retrieve version information from Battle.net."
Any ideas????

Got the game to start downloading patches.
here's how in case anyone has the same issue.

1. downloaded program called CCleaner.
2. used this to uninstall SC2. apparently removes the registry files also (thanks google)
3. reinstalled SC2

and now it's busy downloading...
Crossing fingers that it will now work

Cant load from CD

can anyone assist please

maybe i dont have up to date drivers to manage the game but i cant even install the game.
it took twelve hours or close to it and then when it gets to Quarter way through it tells me that i have the wrong disk in and i must put another onew in
there is only one disk in the box.
when it did eventually load it went on a cycle of loading patches and did not stop.
do i just need a new computer with the right capabilities or can i still play with what ive got.

can anyone asssist with out costing an arm and a leg

thanks

M

Whats your pc specs?,starcraft2 won't really run on old pc's.

download the manual patch if you are having trouble with the auto patcher
