Hey guys....

Ok so I am using an Huawei E220 Modem and a prepaid MTN simcard. Everything used to work fine about 6 months ago, but all of a sudden I started getting some very VERY irritating signal problems.

I use MDMA as a dashboard software (because I can see the exact signal), I usually get around -67dbm to -55dbm, which is very good, almost full bar (there is a tower near to where I live). But then sometimes (like now ) the signal drops to -99dbm to -107dbm, which is so poor that I have trouble even opening facebook! I can't understand it, it just happens randomly. It has been like this for 2 days now.

I have considered everything that I can possibly come up with, like I thought maybe the modem was overheating (plugged it out, cooled it down, put it back and still bad signal). I thought maybe it wasn't getting enough power, so I used a USB split cable with extra power, but still bad signal. I have tried recreating the dial-up connection, still bad signal.

What can I do, I am so fed up?
