There goes the "2 week notification period" they gave us.

It seems the 64k cap has been implemented, and for some reason, i have hit it.

Wait, let me try stop my LEGITIMATE TORRENT DOWNLOADS

Nope, capped @ +- 64kb/128kb

Fun fun fun...

WBS is pissing me off even more day by day... probably not the company itself, but by the attitude of some of there managers *cough* everyone *cough*

are you sure about this?
have you confirmed this with WBS?
or are you just talking crap like in most of your recent posts noone?

I don't think so, I could be wrong, but ever since my connection started dropping randomly a few days back I have downloaded like crazy when it was working. I have been able to get past 3GB and I am still downloading at high speeds (when it is working that is). I think we should get official confirmation before we start posting threads like this one.

Spoke to WBS! THERE IS NO 3 GIG CAP YET! Though I do think they may have throttled the bandwidth a bit.

are you just talking crap like in most of your recent posts noone?
Looks like I was right :/

throttled a bit? I can't even get my kb/s up more than 12? browsing seems fine though

ye, probably

im just glad they're not AS ignorant as sentech

they come close though

I have zero speed....no wait full speed....ah damn no speed ...sh$t what now disconnected....cool!!! full speed....ah no sucking again for 3 hours...this is so freekin unstable its unbelievable....I am getting slowly pissed of with this....and what is this about a cap now implimented...i didn't receive any notification.
BTW I am uploading three times faster then downloading...is there a cap on uploading?

Aborg, I take it you must've moved your UT to the antenna array on my side of the Bryanston-bs, or has the Western array now infected your array as well :D

Daveogg, can I come round to your place - maybe pitch a tent in the yard or something, what the heck can we all travel down there to share your base-station(s)? :D

Operations manager do something

I dont think WBS have implemented a cap yet, they will inform their clients first as they are doing with their messed up billing system.

**** i wonder what this 'holy' grail service is going to be like once it goes live into the retail sector. Although I am sure the CAP will help. Sentech seem to to belive that from day one its good to throttle users...

whats a good speed with iBurst?

I don't think I understand the question...

 Sorry, I should actually go back to sleep, not following...any speed above 0kbps is a "good speed" lately with iBurst.

Yeah i don't thin the cap is there, I tested a view protocols for speed. Http d'ling freekin fast 40 - 60 KB/s rest of the bunch non-existent. I think Iburst is shaping traffic/ports again. Sorry ic, I suggest you move to the west of Bryanston-bs - it is still unstable but now and again I get good speeds on browsing.
