cap may only start at 6AM

I called WBS thato told me that in all llikelyhood the cap will only start at 6AM tomorrow morning, so my advise is leech till then, if you find the cap is started before you phone wbs and tell them to reset your usage stats since they told you that it would only start at 6am and lied :)
 
'they told us' - I don't think they'll buy the argument that you are a representative of them.. but its worth a try.
 
well i recorded my phone call and the help desk is closed, so i'm goign for it

i'm gonna just go till 6 anyway, someones gotta stick thier balls on the table and see what being capped feels liek

well kazaa is still DEAD . . . so it doesnt seem anything changed on the shaping :mad:

Oh WEll, it was fun while it lasted, now we get the full Sentech experience from Sentech II i suppose

Just checked out the prices and cap structure on iBurst website
(can someone please tell me why they need to use flash for the "package offering" - waste of bloody time !)
 
well its 5.12am (Im an early riser) and I figure I'm just carrying on as usual, grabbing what I want, and if I hit the cap, then I'll discover what their 64k thing is like..

related thought - seeing as the 'cap' is allegedly going to start, has anyone deliberately tried any of the applications that have previously been blocked? (going to start up dc++ shortly, to see if the throttle has been lifted)
 
i never used kazaa or bearshare type apps but i downloaded some and they seemed to be working ok, torrents are alrightish but not awesome, I have been downloading all night and my DU meter says 2.5GB used today my bandwith usage page at iburst.co.za says i've used 0MB
