So yesterday I got home switched the pc on, connected to the net and nothing
So I tried this procedure a few times and nothing, the connection said I'm connected but the browser said something else. So I decided to call iBurst (I'm a Nowire client) and was told that I need to purchase more bandwidth to be able to connect to the internet
I'm on the old 9.5gig package and my understanding is that I would be throttled to 64k irrespective of how many gigs I've downloaded, correct? Well I tried to explain this to the consultant, but no you must purchase the bandwidth to connect again to the internet
Well I was flabbergasted to say the least, cut the call, switched the pc off and disconnected the ethernet cable. Got my usb cable, downloaded the latest drivers and i'm connected now.
So my fellow ibursters can you please clarify this cap issue for me b'cos I did buy 100mb shortly before a globe lit up (that the ethernet card was shot)i.e. if I did 20gigs on a 9.5gig package each month for say three months would my 64k throttle be removed?
Thank you all in advance
