Haven't been here in a long time.

Speeds have been crap for the last 6 months but haven't bothered complaining as I will not be renewing in March when my contract is up. Might just move down to a lower package for backup.

I have a 2mb modem with the uncapped option. One of the older accounts. I think wireless 5 or something like that. I schedule all my downloads between midnight and 8am. My cap has run out and I am aware of it but this month instead of websites opening slower I keep getting the iBurst page indicating that my cap has run out and I need to click to by additional data. I know my cap is finished but have the uncapped option. before it use to give me the option to continue to website that I had just entered. Now the only option I have is buy more data.

Please fix this. My email is working fine. Only websites that are not loading. I called the call centre last night and they reset my modem from their side but 30 minutes later was back to the above. If I reset my connection it works for 5 minutes before again going to the iBurst page.

I know my cap is finished. Just allow me to browse on the lower uncapped speed that I am paying for.

What's the penalty fee for early cancellation or package downgrade. My current package end at the end of March 2013.

Update:

Certain websites open normally, sending and receiving email works and my VOIP phone still works.

Websites that open:
MyBB
Telviva.com (My VOIP service provider)
capetalk.co.za

Websites that displays "The connection was rest" in Fire Fox:
fnb.co.za
ebucks.co.za
satrix.co.za
standardbank.co.za
ib.absa.co.za (ABSA internet banking login page)
These are the only ones I tested.

Websites reverting to the iBurst cap reached page:
All other websites
Google, gumtree, wikipedia, bbc, absa.co.za(ABSA main page)

Not sure you're aware of it, but this is not the tech support message board for iBurst. Have you tried phoning them?

Can you find what your signal is? I have a sneaking suspicion your tower is down.

I am aware of that.

I called them last night. They reset my modem from their side and it just reverted back after 30 minutes. If I reset my modem it works for 5 minutes.

r00igev@@r is normally good at getting issues resolved on here though.

If the tower is down, none of the websites would open.

Currently mybb, telviva.com and capetalk.co.za are all opening normally.

Signal is good. Green on the modem.

Your tower might be down, and you are connecting to one further away, is what I meant.

I've never had an iBurst issue ( except one that works overwhelmingly in my favor.. ), so I can't really help.

Good luck getting resolved!

Please PM me your UTID. Tx.
