Cape Town: Brackenfell - any WISP?

Hi All

Tried getting ADSL but Telkom has informed me that even though their on-line check verifies that my exhanges supports ADSL, the exchange is optic-fiber and apparantly it needs to be copper to support ADSL. This implies that I cannot use the fixed line option. They can provide no guarantee ito when the exchange will be upgrade (is going back to copper an upgrade )

I live in Brackenfell, quite close to the Bottelary Road, and I was wondering whether anybody is using a WISP from there? Seems like Uninet is an option, but I have a friend who has reported very bad experience with using Uninet . I am still waiting for a Line-Of-Sight test from them. Anybody have any experience with using a WISP in my area? What are the speeds like? Service ?

Used to use em and if i remember right they have a tower facing that direction.
