I'm in Camps bay CT, and since this outage I have been having intermittent disconnects all day and current throughput is about 15Kbps!!!!

same here, up and down today
 
I am at the bottom of tamboerskloof close to the CBD and mine has also been very up and down all day so far...
 
Barrack street is a peice of rubbish, always going down. My place in Tamboerskloof been down half the day.

This could be said for the majority of the exchanges. Rosebank keeps tripping over itself often as well.

Best effort they say.. if that's their best then I'd be very, very afraid to see what their worst is.. :)

Keep dropping off the network sort off, local and int, but retain ip and connectivity to gateway. Hope it gets sorted cause its like 5pm.
 
Yeah this is getting rather frustrating - I have important work to do today and my connection keeps going down.
 
Just spoke to the "help desk" they said Barrick street has been fixed. I said NOT,. Oh geee, just checked my download speed 300kbps +++ international. They must have listened to me <BG> Lets hope it stays up
 
This afternoon I was repeatedly getting disconnected. I live in Newlands!

Lovely - I get home from work now and am still not able to browse :mad:

Stops at the first hop.
 
I get good SA speeds but international (USA) is unreachable... UK seems fine tho.
 
9am this morning download speeds local and international of 10Kbps. I wonder what the hell is going on. Anybody with any info? Seems like the entire Telkom ADSL network is in meltdown
 
Telkom's network goes through PMS every month.
