Spoke to Sales guy in CT as well as call center and they said the switch on is still 19th. Plus the beta testers have been allocated already :-( Boo hoo. Will just have to wait.
If u apply online they do call you ... albeit a few days later. The interesting thing is that on the zone allocator it may tell you that u dont have a signal. If u apply and get the modem and u dont have a signal they will not refund you and cancel the contract. Thats what the cell center chappie said. So sinse I am in Kenridge [Tygervalley/Durbanville] I am gonna have to wait till I can see something on the zone allocator thingy a bob
Pity but ISDN it has to be for the while.

Yes, but if you get the modem and they SAID their is signal but you're not getting one, they'll keep you on ice till they can sort you out (ice being the cool word for not billing you yo!)
