I've been to Cape Town in winter before but is it just me or their moderate temps still feel Freezing!
I'm hating this weather

Man besides for one day it's been raining for like 3 weeks and it looks like it's continuing that way.
I don't recall so much rain in recent years.

weather changed this year

we never had such a bad winter in few years

when i moved to CPT in 05 this was normal

but we need this rain and for cpt winter a week of rain is normal until we had droughts so good to have this rain ..the cold did come early though

The humidity is through the roof, that is why the cold bites. Also the wind clawing its way in at every crack.

The heavy rains started much earlier this year.

Question is whether they will continue through August or if this is it.

Houses in RSA aren’t insulated properly so winter feels extra cold. This amount of rain used to be normal back in the early 2000s

I remember school days were miserable during winter as you could never go out during break time due to it pouring with rain and being freezing cold.

Winters for the past 10 years have definitely been more moderate. This winter so far reminds me of the 2000's.

Cold is fine but this is flippen wet. Waited three weeks to cut my grass this weekend and it was still wet.
I dont mind the rain 1 bit at all everyday
At least there is cloud cover and it isnt as cold on a motorbike 100km a day everyday

We're moving from La Nina to El Nino, so unusual weather across the country...

Brace yourselves lads
Winter is still coming
