Capitec bank charges for 2026 revealed

Capitec has announced that its voucher fee is increasing from R2 to R3, and balance enquiries on international Mastercard machines are decreasing from R3 to R2.

The bank notified customers on Thursday about its revised fees, which come into effect on 1 March 2026.

To be fair here a lot of these charges have become more expensive in recent years where other banks even have zero charges allowing the others to increase their prices. Seems Capitec has taken note of the exodus or decreased usage.
