Howdy,

Got me first cap today ever (woohoo!) but I find that some sites
like CNN.com doesnt load at all, but things like google.com and
others are as fast (Telkom Fast;)) as always. Is that the usual
case with being capped (swing and miss for certain sites if they
work or not) or is Telkom just playing Santa this month?

i guess google.com is fast because of it's light contents.
google has much less images and texts > cnn.com

Experiencing the same on a capped account - kazaa is still fast and at times running at 53k/s - there is no explanation for this

i think certain sites are just cached and hence it's like accessing a local site with just a little international bandwidth being used.
just my 2c

I had my first cap as well. And I must say the speed of Kazaa was very surprising to me as well, I know that can't be cached since you download from other users and they change all the time. So I am not complaining at all.

I suspect the port prioritisation has been fiddled with. Downloaded something yesterday with Kazaa and it was running at about 40kbyte/sec without having to do stupid tricks with the ports.

I'm not capped BTW.
