Change Case has been in MS Office for a long, long time. I've used it since Office 6/Office 95. From what I remember Sysreq is System Request and was used on Unix systems back in the day. Probably still used at Telkom...

for my basic needs, there is no need to run ms office. even when editing work files which are created on office 2003.

While MS Office, in terms of compatibility with the rest of the world, is generally easier to adopt and use, it does not provide enough benefits over and above that of Libre Office to prompt me to make the effort to get it to run under Linux.

I thought you could get a virtual copy of MS Office running in Linux?

Several ways to do that.

I use virtualbox and run my copy of XP in seamless mode.
