Car 12V power issue

Morning everyone

I need some advice for my car.

Citigolf 1.4i 2005.

While driving, I run my dashcam and phone charger from the electrical socket. Now a couple of months back the power started to "reset". While I'm driving the dash cam will randomly turn-off and the phone will display it stopped charging. A second later, the phone will start charging again. This started recently after several years. Same devices, plugs ect.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Loose earth wire somewhere?

I had a somewhat similar issue with my Corsa, at random times the speedometer and rev counter will just freeze while I am driving, The last time it did that it did not reset back as it usually did, I opened the dash removed the wire connecter and connected it back, that seemed to reset it and it has been fine until today.

There must be some intermittent disconnection somewhere and you need to sort it out before it disconnects completely.
