Hey guys

I was in a car accident last week, nobody hurt or anything thank goodness but pretty Bad damage on both cars.

The hatchback that was involved has a valid licence disk but on the photo I took it says sedan and not hatch back. Think he did something funny at the department...

Think this is an issue?

Yeah - assuming you have insurance let them sort it out.

That is why you pay them :)

That.
Also, they DO make mistakes on the stuff.
I've requested registration info on a bunch of dodgy vehicles, only to have to "make it match" - colours are off or the vehicle is registered incorrectly at eNatis.

Shouldn't be an issue. I drive a hatch and my disk says sedan as does my insurance. Asked them about this and they said its not an issue as long as the VIN numbers etc matches and the licence is valid

I just checked with the police and the driver is not the registered owner of the vehicle.

Any thoughts?

When someone asks questions like this there's usually something more to it. Like either he was at fault and trying to get out of it, or he doesn't have insurance.

Not a crime unless it was a stolen vehicle. I suspect a hidden agenda here - maybe to do with insurance?

In any event the insurance companies involved (if any) will sort it out.

Usually, I have no need to ask anything on the forum... when they ride into my arse I know exactly what to do... insurance deals with it...
