Thats a weak excuse the fiesta has awesome quality and thats the same segment as the Jazz, right ?

In that case, it is a very good price.

Regarding quality, I think the quality of the new Focus is very good. I test drove and almost bought a dual clutch 2.0L petrol.

The 2.0l is totally different from the 1.6 version. I just couldn't get over the feeling that the steering wheel in the 1.6 felt like it was made by tupperware. The 2litre gets a leather steering wheel.

Nope you can get trend and sport on the 1.6 with the leather wheel.

The Ballade and the Jazz are in the same class though? Also what is the deal with the Ballade? Where is it made and where else is it sold?

Yes it's called the Honda City elsewhere. Mine was made in Mexico.

Huge boot, great seats, full size alloy spare, electric mirrors and I think it looks awesome. Plus you get Honda reliability.
 
The Focus is made locally, has a space saver to save space, electric windows and mirrors and awesome interior and exterior design PLUS you get awesome Ford reliability.

My insurance quotes for the ballade were 30% cheaper than the focus.
