car aircon blend door

Aircon works but I'm getting cold air only, hot side still gives me cold air, anyone know where I can get it fixed? Do I send it to dealership? Or other companies eg: Supaquick... How much should I budget?
 
Do yourself a favour and go watch video of ChrisFix on Youtube. This guy gets to the point he did a video a while back about a similar issue with no Heat. Maybe this helps.

Think Chris has a bigger problem with his truck than no heat.....that gunk needs fixing....

hahahaha true, he's videos are quite entertaining and the quality is bloody good. Like I said it might help, hope he gets he's aircon fixed.
 
Had a similar problem on my previous car.

The thetmostat was stuck on open. (later investigation revealed it was never changed during a service = never used that mechanic again)

Check warranty status of vehicle.
If still under warranty, take it to agents.

If not ask another mechanic to change the thermostat. Coolant will also need changing as it runs out...
(relatively easy job on most cars)

Then if still a problem have the aircon assessed.
 
car was fully serviced at dealership last year, doesn't travel much, coolant and what not is full. When I switch the dial from cold to hot it used to make a sound, basically i could hear it switching from cold to hot, now it just rotates from cold to hot freely with a tick, tick, tick sound, like its not even connected to the aircon... well atleast its not stuck on hot

I'd rather let professionals do the ripping apart of the dash and what not, if I do it myself and mess it up, who will I biiitch about it to? :p
 
Have you had any liquids in the footwell?

Carpets being randomly wet and maybe smelling a bit funny?
