Which involves stripping the alternator apart.Defeats the purpose of having it on the outside.
Enough to dissuade those DIY chancers. Leave things to the professionals.
It also does feel like the car has lost some power when driving.
Somebody disconnected a lead from a spark plug, that's why the isle was low, vibrations at standstill, loss of power.
Damn!
lol.
How is the car now? All sorted?
I'll let you know this evening. I need to replace the plugs - the disconnected plug got toasted.
I'm surprised none of you asked me to check the plugs!

You do realise what happening, right? Not only did charging your phone damage the alternator but it also damaged a spark plug. Looks to me like a series of unfortunate events, time to slaughter something and plead with the ancestors before you find that the gearbox is gone too.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to thechamp again.
