car audio advice needed

hi guys i am running two amps,one for my subs and one for my mids,i am sharing power with the two amps,the sound ran well for about 6 months but yesterday wen i put on the head unit i see taht the red protection light is coming on on both amps,my fuse near the battery is not blown and all wiring is fine
can anyone offer solutions please

What size power cable do you have? You should run separate power cables and fuses for each amplifier. Check the individual fuses on the amps, maybe one popped. Or your battery has too little power to feed the amps.

What amps are they? Has anyone fiddled with the gains? Sometimes a strand can touch a terminal next to it putting it into protection.double check that.

try speed n sound forums as well.if that fails have a pro check it out.

Disconnect all the speakers from both amps,are the protection lights still going?
