I've decided to rebuild my car sound and am looking for pointers. I have the following

2 x Kenwood KFC-W3011 12" subs
1 x Kenwood 1800 watt monoblock amp
1 x Ice Power 1600 watt 4 channel amp
1 x Pair Kenwood 280 watt coaxials
1 x Ice Power Parametric EQ
1 x Pair Earthquake 600 watt mids
1 x Pair Hertz tweeters
1 x Pioneer MP3 headunit
Custom built box for the 2x12"

As you can imagine there will not be much space in the boot so I need a clever place to put both amps.

Questions.

1. Where can I put both amps, under the seat is not an option
2. Should I redo the factory speaker cabling?
3. Would I need a cap?
4. What guage power wiring would I need to run a single positive from the battery for both amps
5. Should I put the EQ up front and run 3 sets of RCA's for sub/front/rear or should I run 1 set RCA' from front to back and put the EQ there?

1. Where can I put both amps, under the seat is not an option
I usually mount my amps on the sub box. Gives it a bit more weight so it doesn't topple over on hard corners, and if I need boot space, it's easy to remove the box with everything attached (I connect the speaker outs to Neutriks powerCONs then to the speakers so they're easy to disconnect.)

2. Should I redo the factory speaker cabling?
Definitely

3. Would I need a cap?
Won't hurt...

4. What guage power wiring would I need to run a single positive from the battery for both amps
I'd guess 4 guage as I'm not sure if those power ratings are RMS or peak.

5. Should I put the EQ up front and run 3 sets of RCA's for sub/front/rear or should I run 1 set RCA' from front to back and put the EQ there?
EQ at the back.. if you setup the system correctly, you shouldn't need to fiddle with any EQ settings very often..

Thanks for the response, the monoblock is rated at 900 rms or so the manual says.
