Hey guys,

Do you get a referb battery for a car? I don't plan on driving my car for much longer, but I think the battery is dead, as my car struggles to start after not running for about 8 hours...

If you do get, please mention some places that sell them around sandton or midrand.

Any battery place will sell refurbished batteries. Even some Caltex garages sell new and refurbished batteries.

Go to battery centre Midrand. They sell re-conned batteries. You sure its the battery tho? If you left your lights on, or a door open ect, it might just need a good charge.

Nah, it is now a regular thing. It has this ugly beep if you leave your lights on. The battery looks old, so I am guessing it is just ages. I know it will do it again when I leave for home today and when I get there, I can turn the car off, leave it a couple of mins and then start it again with no problem, but the next morning, same thing.

Edit: Phoned them, R450 for reconned, incl discount for old battery... Seems a bit high, doesn't it?
