spoke to the finance lady and she said MFC finance declined the deal for "possible fraud". all authentic copies of documents were submitted and approved by the finance officer so dont know what went wrong and where. MFC customer service transferes me to "Validation team" and validations team wont speak to me wont speak to me because they say they are not customer facing.

One contributor nailed it. The credit card is registered under a passport number as the PR permit was linked to the passport before she received her SA ID number. Go to the bank that offered your wife the credit card and update to the new SA ID number. This will take at least 14 days to reflect with credit bureaus, unless you ask the bank to update the bureaus as a matter of urgency. Link the credit card to the ID number mate.

Thanks. already done that the same day we collected the ID from home affairs. I guess its just a matter of waiting now.

registered with transunion, credit score shows "Favourable". Did the mistake of getting comprehensive paid report with experian on sunday, now they are not replying to her emails nor sent her the credit report.
I will ask her to do the free credit check.
