Car has low power when pulling away, then comes right

Hi,

My '99 Opel Astra, with about 278,000 km's on the clock sometimes feels "rough" when pulling away, or loses power to about 75% when accelerating, almost like it's missing, but then all of a sudden it will come right. Would this just be dirty spark plugs or injectors, and is there an easy fix?

Thx, will check the plugs. Not too sure on what to do for the 2nd and 3rd

Some more options to add to your list:
- Faulty idle valve
- Faulty MAF sensor
- Dirt in the fuel pump/line/filter
- Faulty fuel pump (pressure fluctuates)

My bet is something to do with the fuel feed. Pump maybe not pushing enough fuel anymore.

with that mileage it could be anything. non of us and can tell you the problem, just take it to your local mechanic or dealership and they will diagnose the problem for you.
