Car Leasing?

I've been looking into getting a new (well, second hand) car, however I am also considering leasing a car instead. I've always thought my Google-Fu was pretty good, however I just can't find any companies that seem to do long-term (1 or 2 year) leasing.

When it comes to the car market, I am a lowly padawan. I would appreciate any suggestions on where to go with this. Would it be cheaper in the long run to just buy a car? I wouldn't be able to afford buying it straight off and would have to pay it off over a number of years.

Are there any car leasing companies in SA? Is it better to just buy a car?

Rather buy it on HP...at least the car is yours if you want to own it in the end.

Just tell the bank you want to lease the car you want, instead of buying it.

dont know how its here, but in the netherlands and germany, the leasing rate you pay can be subtracted from your income tax...
