I recently renewed car licenses our two cars through the natis system. https://online.natis.gov.za/#/... cost me just R99 extra for the courier.
Then came across this article where Shoprite and Checkers are offering the service for R185. It doesnt make sense, why will anyone go to someone expensive when Natis is offering it for only R99 ??
is there something that I dont know ?

They know that a lot of people will
1 - not know about it since they advertise in stores and Natis doesn't.
2 - A lot of people will immediately write off anything that is government related, and want to use private companies. On other threads about it people often say I used "X service" because I know the government will mess it up before trying it.
