Or similar type apps. I find that when I am in a parking arcade or even the airport parking, that the apps are never able to lock on my location. Do any of you who use these types of apps find a similar problem?

Tried Parkdroid before. Unfortunately it's just a limitation of GPS technology, the buildings block signals from GPS satellites.

Although with my Galaxy S, it struggles even when I'm out in the open...

What he said. GPS doesn't work unless you have a view of the sky.
