car losing water

top gasket is open to both your oil and water channels. If both leak it could simply be the mechie did not torque it correctly.
Try to find where your car is leaking from visibly. That goes a long way.

the water leak is visible when i try to fill the coolant, the leak is beneath the engine. but with oil leak i am not sure
