60k km's not that bad, low price is good but a bit worrying.

Its a Honda Jazz going for R80 000 at a dealership. I do not know the history of the vehicle, not sure about service record. Personally I do at most 20 000 KM per year.

And guess what, that car seems to have done 20 000km per year. 2008 + 2009 + 2010 is 3 years. 3 X 20 000km is 60 000KM.

Just bear in mind a 2008 model could also be a 2 year old car...bought e.g. November 2008 ?

That is the theory, but I seriously doubt if that information will be on record at any traffice department. Our law enforcement department's various databasis do not seem to really talk to each other.

I'm not entirely sure. Best to get as much info about the car as possible and go to the traffic dept
