Greetings ADSL'ers

So I just bought a Jetta for the wife .. but guess what , the radio system does not have an MP3 player capability. Just CD's.

So someone told me that you get a unit that you stick in a cigarette lighter and play your MP3's via the FM band on the radio .... does this work? Can you play songs in folders?

I see bidorbuy have got one for sale ... but I am very sceptical about gimmicks that bidorbuy sell .....

Any advice please? How can I play my MP3's in the car.

PS. the CD player is integrated into the dashboard so I cannot change it.

Thanks

from the GadgetShop you get a thing that you plug into cigerate lighter plug, you stick a USB Memoery stick into that thing and voila it will play the songs over a radio freq. like 88.0 FM.

i have one in each of my cars, works like a bomb!!

you can play songs in any folder, as long as its on the memory stick
