Anyone know of any backdrops when taking a photo of your car?

Thanks!

The main work is taking the different exposures upfront with the camera before you get to a PC, but even that is quick

Do you then play around with Photoshop, or is there another programme that you use?

Ok, thats a decent start....

Bit TOO exagerated though

What I found was shooting earlyish in the morning outdoors before the light gets too harsh, then you can get some decent motion into the shot as well.

I use a program called Photomatix for HDR. It only does HDR - and does it well. Basically you need 3+ identical images at different exposures to combine and it brings out the highlights, shadows and detail in every shot. The result is a higher dynamic photo that digital can't do. For this photo no PS was used at all ... simple combining and that was it. I try take a photo and use it 'as is'.

This photo http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showfull.php?photo=17762 has the motion blur - but didn't use PS at all

I purposely did that overprocessed look. I have a ton of that specific photo at various levels - but posted only this one. The photo above is nice motion in the same place actually

I now know your number plate :p

I kinda figured you'd done the over processed look on purpose...

BUT i think you could get a better look for the image by stepping back on the overproccessed look somewhat... or even keep the seriously overprocessed look on the backdrop but try get the golf itself to look a bit more natural, then that image will seriously pop.

Dolby, I've invited a couple of your shots to one of my groups. Also marked you as a Flickr contact - you have some super shots!

I've got one with the golf 100% natural ... and you're right ; that does look pretty good!
