Hi. i swapped my bakkie for a car in November 2018. The guy promised i would receive the registration papers for the car within 2 weeks and ever since he has been avoiding my contact. Then December 2019 i saw my Bakkie on the net stripping to sell parts. I contacted the seller who was the new owner of the guys property and he said the guy told him to strip the bakkie and sell it for parts.I discussed the situation and produced the original paperwork for the bakkie then i towed it back home as the guy wrecked the bakkie and it didnt even start. I then sent a message to the guy i swapped with and told him he has 15 days to get me the car papers and collect the bakkie. Today he got somebody to call me saying they have a court order and stated they would be collecting the car. I spent a lot on the car for repairs, the guy wrecked my bakkie, I have all contact that i have sent to the guy over the past year including an agreement that was emailed to him that he never signed and sent back instead he replied via mesenger which shows acknowledgment of agreement sent etc. i told him get me the car papers and collect the bakkie where he refused. (I have the car, I have the messed up Bakkie thats on my name and i have an agreement with reply that he received the agreement stating the swop agreement). Any advice welcome before they rock up to fetch the car. Thanks Sheldon
