Car renting

Hi all
I am planning a trip to SA in July with a group of friends from Denmark. Route JHB - Umkomaas - Kruger - unknown - JHB.
We are looking into car rental. Any suggestions on pricing, companies worth trying. We are 14 in the group. We opt to drive ourselves either 2 minibusses or 1 small bus.

I think 2 mini busses will be more convenient than a small bus. You might also need a special licence to drive a vehicle the size of a bus.

rentalcars.com usually have good rates.

Look at www.carhire3000.com , insurance is included and unlimited km's, I have used them before on a number of occasions and all was okay.

Or... you can use reputable brands suchs as Avis car/bus hire Eurocar/SA etc...

Two minibuses I reckon. A small bus in the Kruger, not having a way to get away from THAT guy in your group that just irritates the **** out of you...no.

Try dollar thrifty. International brand and reasonable pricing. Also they had a special offer for the caravelle which is pay for 2 days get one free... Not sure if still on.

Stick with the big boys. Better quality vehicles with backup. Pennywise pound foolish( insert Euro if needs be )

Just to add rentalcars.com is a site like travelstart, it searches the various agencies that have cars available but their rates are usually cheaper than going direct.
