interesting to see what cars are being sold.
over 300 Toyota 86s so far on the roads in SA vs 9 BRZs, which i assume are just the 9 demo models Subaru has in the country.

Correct - the BRZ will not be officially imported until the New Year, so why these display models are even being counted, I don't know.

You cannot compare sales when one car is for sale and the other isn't.

Even when the BRZ goes on sale, you shouldn't ever compare the two, as the BRZ will always be brought in, in small numbers, and the ratio will be approximately 100 to 1 when the BRZ is finally up for sale.

I phrased it poorly as I wasn't implying the 86 is a more popular car but just trying to give some hope to the peeps waiting for one.
