Hi everyone,
So I have now managed to settle my car loan with the bank, I am just waiting for the papers to come through.
The car is a 2016 Clio 4 with just over 20,000km on it, so I plan on keeping it a very long time (at least 5years), however I remember a thread here some years ago about insurance not being so kind about cars that have been settled.
So I wanted to know:
1. Is it best that I inform the insurance company that my car is no longer financed?
2. Will this hurt me in terms of shopping around for car insurance? As I am also planning to change my car insurance to get a cheaper premium.
