Car value estimation?

Hey guys,

I am looking to sell my car and wanted to know what a fair value was. Selling to my dad so it is not super important to make a killer profit, but also don't want to burn a hole into my pocket.

2011 Audi A4 1.8T B8 Multitronic (Automatic)
50200 km on the clock
Excellent condition, no dings
Bluetooth + Window armor
Xenon headlights + Daytime LEDs

I thought about going to car dealers but they are probably just going to offer me 70% or some other random number. I would really appreciate your input.

I would normally use Gumtree or Autotrader and search for a similar vehicle to get an idea what the market price goes for.

Think the Santam one is a little on the overpriced side. Transunion gives lower values on both vehicles I did checks for.

The condition of the car that you select makes a difference in the price, insured value should be between trade and retail iirc

Just to be used as reference.

My Santam policy has my vehicle under insured according to their own calculator, must speak to my broker

OP what did you pay for the car and when?

Santam gives retail

I paid R350,000 for the vehicle in 2011. Added bluetooth, smash and grab, and xenon lights or something as extras. Going to be selling it for R200,000.
