Looks like they no longer want visitors to their website.

If you traceroute or ping their server hosted at Elitehost 3 times they block the IP permanently.

Good luck to people on natted IP's that are getting blocked.

IP I ping them domain, blocking mine not

If you use MTR for a minute or so or access their site from a natted IP the IP gets blocked by their aggressive firewall. We aggressively NAT so they have blocked some of our IP's and also my IP right now when I was troubleshooting for a client.

@Afrigirl There is nothing we can do here. Clients need to contact Carbonite. 🫠

Yeah, our firewall is setup and maintained by Elitehost. People trying shenanigans will get blocked. NATting, while a decent method to conserve public IP uses, can also be used by scammers to hide/obfuscate their info.

If you get your IP blocked, you can contact us at [email protected] to get the IP unblocked.

If anyone contacts them, they might as well mention that their site needs an update. The search filter has been broken since last year.
Search filter works fine, it's just a QOL add on we disabled functions on after a DB break. We will fix it in due course.

They want USD 400 per month in donations but can't even upgrade their site software.

Some IPv6 would be nice then NAT won't be relevant.
