How long does it generally take for mod approval on Carbonite site?
See something I'm keen to buy, just worried I may lose out if it takes too long.

As long as it takes to get vetted. One of the carb mods is active here on MyBB.

@Toxxyc if you could assist, please.

Sorry guys, over weekends the staff also have lives. In the week it generally takes a few minutes as we're on it, but over weekends we log off for longer periods (because time with family) so it can take a bit longer. @SAguy did you come right in the end? Send me a link to the deal, I can check on the seller and so on for you.

Thanks for coming back to me, no stress - was merely wondering if it was a lengthy process or just a day. I did get sorted out thank you.
Made the purchase and item is being couriered to me, hopefully all goes well.

Slightly off topic but I bought a NUC like that from the same seller, quite a nice little beast of a machine for the price.

I ended up recommending him to a buddy of mine, and eventually got him to sell six more of the units to extended friends because of it:laugh:

I have the 6i3 and love it, getting the 8i3 now from this seller to run as a little docker server.

What truck did the seller get all the Nuc's off though

For that usecase they are great.

Mine runs Windows 10 as I use it as a HTPC connected to my TV, along with a headless Ubuntu Server running PiHole, my Unifi Controller, Dynamic DNS updated via a cron job, and OpenVPN. I did experiment with Docker but I am too dof to use it properly.

You will be very impressed with the NU8I3's performance, as the jump from 6th gen to 8th gen is quite a lot in terms of performance and efficiency.

And I asked that same question:ROFL:
