Caretaker President ?

Who will be appointed as a caretaker/interim President, in terms of the constitution, Section 90, sets it out

Deputy President
Cabinet Minister appointed by Cabinet
Speaker acts as President until National Assembly elects President

We know that Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, has stated publicly that she will resign, so that leaves the other members of Cabinet, which would then most likely be Kgalema Mothlante, any other views on the matter ?

Both Mbeki and Zuma had discussions with the current Cabinet over the weekend, aksing the ministers not to resign. A lot of them indicated that they will however resign.
