What about the Raspberry pi, i expressed interest in it on RS Online ZA, but only receive emails and no actual ETA of the product, and when it comes here it will first come first serve.
I'm sure that this device will be quite adequate as well, using it as a car pc?

Problem is finding the right screen for car use. Touch screens are even more expensive!
eSquire has a 15" USB driven screen that looks interesting. (non-touch)
