Well he's apparently now suing Agliotti for loss of income for R15m or something like that because of his sons death.
 
yeah heard that one. now that his son is gone i wonder how much he has lost.
 
sigh just sad there are no transcripts of the show...
 
Carte Blanche in my opinion has really become a great show. They went through a patch being so politically correct I stopped watching it. They must have a new producer or maybe they just got tired of being the ANC's bitch.

I found tonight's show to be very interesting. They highlight how the scorpions actually stumbled into a much much bigger fight.

The way I see it is that they were gunning down Zuma and this pleased Mbeki. Then Selebi gets caught pants down and is put under investigation. This caused a conflict of interests.

Through squeezing Selebi the Scorpions would have found mass irregularities, malfeasance and corruption on the pro-Mbeki side.

Its my opinion that if the Scorpions were allowed to survive they would have sunk the Anc government. There would be no one left at the Union buildings with any credibility.
 
Yeah...bunch of corrupt gravy-trainers. Wish the scorpions would survive and nail those bastards.
 
No wonder Durban Roodepoort Deep Mines (DRD or DRDGold) has taken a pummelling in recent years. Share Price down 90% from around R50 in 2002 to R5 today.
All those worthless mines they bought.

That being said, at the current levels it may still turn around and surprise if you have the stomach for Gold Shares.

I was watching Selebi's actions on TV.
Not the action of a Career Policeman? Skulking around like a crook more like it. And defacing the Police Uniform by wearing a Police Cap with civilian clothes - surely that is a not allowed - looks skollie-like for such a high ranking officer.
 
Yeah did you see him at the Polokwane conference? He looks like a skebenga ;)
What a disgrace the leadership of this country are. He had no right to wear the hat and you are right he defaced the uniform. Let another policeman do it and they would get into trouble.
