Cartrack are spammers

Anybody else having relentless issues with CarTrack sending unsolicited marketing messages?

I have informed them twice now that they are breaking the ECTA and they acknowledged receipt of this. This morning I received a spam message again so they are clearing ignoring the opt out. I have also requested them to provide me with where they found my contact details (as per the act) which was ignored as well - I have never dealt with them before.

I've laid a complaint with WASPA but not sure if that will result in anything. The ECTA speaks of big fines and jail time, so my question is: who do I approach with this problem. I have email, message evidence etc.

Maybe a class action lawsuit?

I would be keen to find out how many people get this harrassment.

I get the messages from them. They were also trying to call me a few times a day a couple weeks ago. I just kept cutting the call and blocked the number until they stopped.

Yeah same here but personally Sanlam is even worse for me. Get the same rubbish SMS's from them like clockwork every morning and afternoon. It just doesn't stop.
