Any one know of any places im CT that do interior case painting? Would like to get the inside of my Elite painted black. Thanks

DIY - strip as much as possible, mask off outside, spray with good quality "blikkie" I would reccommend aerolak.

It should be okay without sanding, it's finish is reasonably rough. It goes without saying that it should be dust, oil free and dry before attempting this.

If you going to spray on bare metal use a self etching primer first then spray your desired paint. If you want you can then add a clear coat however it's not really necessary. Post pics after you're done

I say go matte black, but get Rust-o-leum paint. They have the best matte black I've ever used. Also definitely use a etching primer or other primer marked for the job.

anyone know where you can get self etching primer in a can? I have looked at builders warehouse and such, but cant find any

Try the likes of Midas. Can't recall if they have etch primer in an aerosol can as it has been years since I purchased that for use on my car.

I'm sure I saw etch primer at Builders, though. It was Rust-o-leum or another brand.
